The Final Great Expectations piece is complete. It starts with elements made outside of the computer in watercolor. Here is the Boy

This wash texture is used in the finish as the basis for the boy who is completed in photoshop with a soft brush tool. Here is the finished boy:

In addition to the boy I did some extra watercolor washes and various textures, created the majority of the work in illustrator, and then combined and touched everything up with photoshop. Here is the final Illustration:
